Summer Travels and yet another list

It is summer and summer means traveling, whether it's across the world or across the street, you are destined to leave your house at least once. If you haven't, I do advise that you do because sunlight is vital for a human being or any being in that matter to feel their best. I being a traveler of sorts am getting on a plane soon to a place that is quite parallel to what it is like where I live in the states. I will enter monsoon season and mosquito bites so wish me luck. Because we are half way through summer and there still might be traveling left for you to do, so I have devised a list of things that I think you might need to make long hours in a car or plane or train or boat a lot less monotonous. Believe me, after 12 hours on a plane, things start to feel very dragged out.

A list of things I think you will need or can do to kill boredom : A list by Ankita Bhat
  • Food. Although this doesn't completely correlate with the whole point of the list, you will get hungry at some point, so just adding this in. I'd like to think that this is the most important thing. Also you can always eat when you get bored.I just killed two birds with one stone.(Please don't actually kill birds with stones. That sounds morbid and terrible and heartless.)
  • A Book or A Kindle or A Newspaper or A Magazine. More likely that not, if you are on a long ride it will give you some time of peace and quite, so why not fill that emptiness with stories.
  • Pen and Paper. You don't need to be a writer or artist, this will do for all you hangman, tick-tack toe, and other games that will make time move a little bit faster needs.
  • Earphones. Whether you're listening to music or watching a movie, it's a lot nicer to use your own that one that other people have used.(especially on planes.)
  • People watch. There are a lot of people surrounding you that you probably haven't met and they can't all look the same.
  • Sleep. Why not you got the time, and if you're anything like me there's a high chance that you didn't sleep the night before.
  • Cards. They are actually life savers. More likely than not it will be a ton of fun and you can annoy people by winning and then feel super accomplished.
  • Download movies. This is the same concept as a book but on a screen instead.

That is all the things that I have to list. If you're like me you'll go through this list multiple times, but by the time you're sick of it your destination will arrive.

Xoxo,
Ankita
